4mm Silver Omega Chain The omega chain is unlike a normal chain in that, instead of a series of linked rings, it is made up of smooth metal plates which are set side by side, on a wire or woven mesh. The embedded wire or mesh provides the strength and yields a fairly stiff but flexible chain. The chain will fall into a natural circle when placed around your neck and is usually flat with a concave underside.
